Amanda Caldwell, Somatic Shaman
Amanda offers a therapeutic massage experience like no other. She is a strong advocate of the benefits of somatic therapy which integrates the mental, emotional and physical aspects of the body through massage therapy and energy work. Amanda’s specialty is Medical/Therapeutic massage and she has been interested in holistic therapies for more than 30 years. Amanda is an attuned Reiki Master level 3 and has received Advanced Energy training. She received her undergraduate degree at Belmont University in Nashville TN with a major in Business Administration. She returned to school for her Somatic Therapy Certification in 2004 and opened her own practice one year later. Amanda has traveled the country earning continuing education in Eastern Massage Modalities including Ayurvedic Medicine and cultural Energy work from Peruvian Shamans under the Heart of the Healer to Healing Hands, Stone Medicine of the Lakota medicine women of Cedar Stone School.
Sessions with Amanda run 75 or 90 minutes with a limit of 3 sessions per day. Amanda’s clients tend to become regulars with set appointments and have preferred booking status. Amanda is also available to book speaking engagements on intro to Guided Meditation, Massage Therapy, or Somatic Shamanism.

Retreat Facilitator
As I wind down my massage career of over 20 years I have been putting more energy into spirituality and what that means for me. The vision is MaGaia's Glade a Spiritual Retreat Center for Women to connect with their Inner Divine. One day the location will be a physical address, but until then the mission is to travel and host retreat weekends.
I currently host two retreats a year within a 3 hour drive from Knoxville TN. These retreats are open to all women wishing to attend. I am also available to travel and facilitate a weekend retreat for established women's groups. The minimum group number is 3 and the max is 12.
Retreats are all inclusive to feed the mind body and soul.
Wedding Officiant
I became a Notary Public in 2023 to legally marry people in the State of Tennessee. I am ordained online and in the process of having MaGaia's Glade and official church.
I love the process of weddings and would love to officiant your special day.
I can also help facilitate any aspect of the wedding for you.
